Together with international partners and in cooperation with existing branches, ARBEIT UND LEBEN organises approximately 8,000 educational events with 300,000 participants each year. About 100 of these events consist of youth meetings with a topic focus on socio-political and professional orientation in Europe. Moreover, embedded in the framework of the Leonardo da Vinci-Mobility Program, various projects are designed to arrange job placements for different target groups in Germany, as well as in European partner countries.

ARBEIT UND LEBEN disposes of vast experience in the coordination of joint European projects, the development of training programs for tutors and training supervisors and via the steering group of Certificates International, ARBEIT UND LEBEN is also engaged in the development of credit systems of non-formal and informal learning achievements.

The Federal Office of ARBEIT UND LEBEN coordinates the overall execution of the project, takes part in the development of the definition and documentation framework, methods and procedures devised during the project, as well as the circulation and effective storage of the project results.

SYDDANSK ERHVERVSSKOLE

The SYDDANSK ERHVERVSSKOLE is the major provider for vocational training in Southern Denmark. They have been specialising in international cooperation for more than 10 years, arranging mobility programs in Denmark for internal and foreign students on a large scale. These programs include measures adapted to initial vocational training as well as in-service research studies. Educational offers focus on seminars for the occupational areas of graphic and multi-media design, carpentry and joiner trade, information technolgy, shipbuilding, vehicle manufacturing and engineering, architecture and design, electronics and information technology, production engineering and business administration.

The Odense Tekniske Skole is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of the internet-based e-portfolio. It also participates in testing own mobility programs, as well as circulating results during training programs carried out by other institutions supporting mobility programs, and informing relevant specialist institutions in Denmark.

Omnia Vocational College - OMNIA, Espoon seudun koulutuskuntayhtymä

Omnia, the leading vocational training institution in the Finnish Espo-region, is subdivided into four institutes: the vocational training centre, the adult education centre, the job placement centre and youth workshops. Omnia offers vocational training for 5 specialist areas: culture, management and administration, technology, social services and health care, as well as tourism/hospitality management. Students can be certified in 22 different exams and may opt for 39 different study courses, up to a three-year term for higher vocational training (120 credit points of the ECVET-system).

In the project, OMNIA participates in the development and testing of the definition and documentation framework, e-portfolio testing in their own mobility projects, the circulation of results by means of executing trainings on a regional and national level as well as forwarding information to specialist circles concerning the project’s course.

European Institute of Social Services (EISS)

The purpose of the research conducted with different partners is to analyse the living conditions of the socially deprived in Europe. EISS cooperates with partner organisations from all over Europe.

Within the European Union and in accordance with the framework of transnational EU-programs, EISS has already coordinated a series of complex joint ventures and disposes of broad experience and network contacts. Within the partnership, EISS will carry out the evaluation of the project’s course and also be in charge of coordinating documentation during the project’s trial phase.

Kaunas College

The Kaunas College carries out mobility projects for a large variety of professions amounting to 750 – 1,000 participants per year. However, the strongest demand is in sectors such as hotel and hospitality management and business administration. Further programs are designed for students in the fields of: applied arts, pedagogy, information technology, social service, caring professions, supply, technology, etc. Due to the industry’s gradually increasing demand in relevant training and further eduation courses, the Kaunaas College disposes of diverse experience in the field of non-formal and informal education, which has developed into an own core activity.

In the project, the Kaunas College participates in the development and testing of the definition and documentation framework, e-portfolio testing in their own mobility projects, the circulation of results by means of executing trainings on a regional and national level, as well as forwarding information concerning the project’s course in Lithuania.

3s research laboratory

Logo: 3s research laboratory3s research laboratory is one of the leading research institutions in the field of vocational training in Austria. 3s disposes of experience in design and execution of projects in the fields of training, learning and working, as well as the development of methods, tools for assessment and evaluation of qualifications and skills. In this case, 3s focuses on the transition zone between education and professional training or education and the employment market respectively. 3s is seasoned in the coordination of and collaboration in various European projects (Leonardo da Vinci, Socrates, EC) and is a member of the Austrian CEDEFOP reference network, consulting Austrian Ministries  (e.g. with regards to the development of a national qualification framework and the introduction ECVET-system in Austria, the certification of group-internal vocational training as well as quality assurance, etc.).

3s research laboratory coordinates the development of the final assessment with regards to the definition and documentation framework. In the trial phase, 3s will create a user guideline based on the experience gathered from the project, and also support the circulation of the project results by conducting training seminars and forwarding the results to relevant specialist circles in Austria and Europe.

Zwi?zek Zak?adów Doskonalenia Zawodowego (ZG ZDZZ)

The Association of Institutions for Further Education (ZZDZ) is the umbrella organisation consisting of 24 independent organisations (ZDZ), disposing of a region-wide network of schools, training centres and training facilties all over Poland. This includes 480 secondary schools and vocational schools, as well as four technical colleges and 280 education centres, which provide education programs for about 30,000 pupils and students, as well as 260,000 course participants per year. The association supports the ZDZ in terms of professional advice and further training for specialists employed at the ZDZ, as well the development of curricula, execution of national and international projects and representation of interests towards Polish state authorities.

The Association of Institutions for Further Education (ZZDZ) should participate in development and testing of the project results and also organise the project’s circulation in Poland.

Gerencia Andaluza de Promoción Comunitaria (GAPC)

La Gerencia Andaluza de Promoción Comunitaria was founded in 1991. It specialises in the development, organisation and coordination of transnational mobility projects. Predominantly, young people who wish to complement their initial training abroad make up the target group, but also organisations, teachers and career planners from the field of professional training. The “Mobility 21“-project, specifically aimed at raising the readiness for mobility among people in professional training, has existed since 2000. Based on a network of public and private institutions, the GAPC carries out specialised programs for encouraging the reintegration of unemployed to the European labour market.

In the project, GAPC participates in the development and testing of the definition and documentation framework, the testing of project results in their own mobility projects, circulation of results by means of executing multiplier trainings on a regional and national level, as well as forwarding project information to Spanish specialist circles.
